Help Me: Foundation

For the past year, I have been using shall I say my favorite foundation Maybelline FIT Me Matt+Poreless foundation in 322 Warm Honey. Like I said before, it matches me perfectly, does not cause me to break out, gives very good natural looking coverage and its affordable! But, I would like a higher end foundation especially for special occasions or going out at night. But, at the same time I want it to look natural.

I have been eyeing a few foundations but, kind of scared to take the plunge. So, I need help choosing the best one:

Too Faced Born This Way Absolute Perfection Foundation

2. Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

3. Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 30

4. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15

5. Marc Jacob’s Re(marc)able Full Coverage Foundation

Please, let me know if you have tried any or are using one of these foundations. I would greatly appreciate the feedback.

Thanks guys!!

  1. Hi Nina!
I have the Tarte one and it is lovely and gel-like but not full coverage. They make an Amazonian clay one that is lovely. That said, my skin is on the dry and sensitive side.
    Love everything by Too Faced.

    1. Kara, THANK YOU, for commenting!!!

Awesome, I have oily/combo skin but in the summer it’s very oily!

I own Tarte’s Amazonian Clay foundation and I find it’s a bit on the casket side for me BUT it has a beautiful finish.
