Happy ONE year anniversary to US!

IMG_1737

I have no idea where the time went, but I can assure you it was a good first year of marriage!

I just want to express that marriage is truly a beautiful arrangement. I get to see the person I love every single day and we get to not only share our lives together but, we also became a family. And that is what I have now my own family who are proud parents of a very spoiled cat.

Despite, the challenges we went through this year, it has only made us a stronger couple. It helped us to communicate our feelings freely to one another and lean on each other when we felt incapable or when you feel bogged down. And that is the main key to any relationship: communication and loyalty.

Expressing, how we felt early on{when I mean early, I mean before you put a ring on it} and talk about the “sensitive” stuff. Thankfully, I have been given great advice to ask whomever I would date these things before stuff got too serious and you were in the ‘wearing rose colored glasses’ faze. I think with our age and life experiences or examples we had before us really helped us to be realistic in our thinking and just flat out say “do you want to have kids?” Even about finances, talk about that! So, we already knew going into a marriage what we were getting ourselves into – haha!

This year was a true blessing. We had a lot of fun and continue to do so.

I guess that means were not newlyweds anymore?

Well, onto the next year!
